All the top 5 teams (Boise, 'Bama, Texas, Florida and SC) have had close battles these past two weeks. If you look at both the PAC 10, SEC, Bit 10 and Big 12, there is a lot more parity than in past years. Oregon St. did a great job making second half adjustments. Our blitz packages were not effective because Canfield was able to do a quick three-step drop and hit receivers running routes underneath the SC coverage unit. Our offense really took off and it was nice to see the running game, with Allen Bradford, pick up the slack and get some big runs. This seas0n really illustrates why we need a playoff system in CFB. Right now I think 'Bama is the most complete team. There defense is lights out and they have a great RB, who could sneak in and take the Heisman. On to Oregon. But, if we lose in Oregon, it might be a blessing in disguise because we can finally avoid having to play another bunch of farm boys from the Big 10 and delivering another clown stomp on that sorry conference. I would love to meet LSU or Texas in one of the other BCS games.
