Sure... only difference is that many of the other acts that also appeared on Woodstock are today considered "legendary" and/or "influential", while Creedence is just another oldies band in the eyes of most... the publicity that the festival, its movie and its soundtrack have generate through the decades is immeasurable. Maybe they wouldn't have sold many more records, but their presence on the movie/soundtrack would without doubt have raised their status.
